Alma-Ata: will open pantheon of victims in riots

President Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev instructed the Almaty authorities to organize a competition for the best sketch of Pantheon who died in mass riots, which in the future plan to discover in memory of the events of January 2022. This is reported by the portal “VLAT” with reference to the head of the city of Bakytzhan Sagintaev.

Protests in Kazakhstan began on January 2 due to the rapid growth of gas engine fuel prices.
