Pharmacolog noted that even one-time reception can be enough for fatal outcome – alcohol enhances the work of enzymes that metabolize medicines, and can also increase side effects.

“In the end, a toxic metabolite can quickly accumulate, or the drug will work worse, or, on the contrary, the effect will increase. After all, it is sometimes metabolite (a substance that turns out after the enzyme work) has the properties of the drug,” the specialist explained.

Previously nutritionists and doctors called dangerous consequences and diseases that can suck lovers to drink one glass of wine every day. According to them, the frequent use of alcohol increases the risk of developing breast cancer, especially in women whose relatives encountered this disease. “Cancer language and esophagus is directly related to the use of wine,” specialists said.
