In Alma-Ata, they will install a memorial who died as a result of the riots to a military personnel and police officers. This was told by the head of the city administration Bakytzhan Sagintayev. The memorial will be installed on the Republic Square in the center of the Megapolis, TASS reports.
According to the mayor, the memorial will be set to the appearance of descendants so that they remember those who defended the country from terrorists, retained the world and ensured the safety of citizens.
“The memory of the dead military workers, law enforcement officers will be immortalized in the Memorial, which will be installed on the Republic Square,” the press service of the city administration reports.
