The official representative of the US State Department for Ned Price revealed the details about further contacts with Russia on its security proposals. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to him, the United States is not planning to talk about the form and modality of those contacts that can follow. At the same time, the price has noted that Washington is committed to the continuation of the dialogue, which, as the American authorities hope, will bring results.
The representative of the ministry also stressed that additional contacts between the United States and Moscow will follow in the coming days. At the same time, he said that it would require intensive consultations from the Russian delegation with high-ranking officials in the Russian Federation, including Russian President Vladimir Putin. The State Department in turn will inform about what is happening Congress, he added.
Previously, Price said that the State Department wishes to leave new sanctions against Russia remained hypothetical. “We hope it will remain hypothetical. In order to be so, we want to see the continuation of involvement in diplomacy,” the price explained. Washington expressed the hope that Moscow “will choose the involvement in the diplomatic process,” he added.
