Former head of the Academy noted that the attackers could not penetrate the computer network of other institutions of the British Defense Ministry or access information representing significant value. At the same time, he suggested that this could be the main goal.
In October, United Kingdom Defense Minister Ben Wallace said that the country will exercise cyber attacks in response to similar attacks by “hostile states”, such as Russia.
