From January 1, 2022, insurance pensions were indexed by 5.9 percent. Such an increase is laid in the budget of the Pension Fund of Russia (FIU) for 2022-2024.
The value of a fixed payment to the insurance pension since the beginning of the year is 6400 rubles. Also, since April 1, social pensions will grow, they are indexed by 7.7 percent.
In addition, in December 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised that pensions would be increased above the actual level of inflation. According to the results of 2021, as evaluated in the Central Bank of Russia, the indicator must exceed 8 percent.
State Duma deputy Yaroslav Nilov assumed that since January pensions will increase by 5.9 percent, but later the index will bring to the level of real inflation, and the part that pensioners are not allowed, they compensate for them.
