Militants of the Radical Movement “Taliban” (forbidden in Russia, a terrorist organization) hope that Russia recognizes the government formed by them in Afghanistan. This was stated by the official representative of Taliban Zabilella Mujahid, RIA Novosti reports.
“According to our expectations, it should have been done for a long time, but now there is still a good time to start the recognition process,” the representative of the movement told. He stressed that the Afghan population needs help and assistance.
Mujahid noted that in Russia a strong government, which has a good position in the international arena. According to him, Moscow can take advantage of this provision to increase the aid to the people of Afghanistan.
Earlier, the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Oleg Syomolotov said that after the Taliban militants arrived in Afghanistan in Afghanistan, the collapse of the security situation in the country did not happen.
