In 2021, Samsung remained the leader in volumes of piece sales of smartphones in Russia. This is stated in the press release “M.Video-Eldorado”, which was at the disposal of the editorial office “Renta.ru”.
Korean corporation keeps the first position of the tenth year. The second place for sales in pieces took the brand Xiaomi, the third – Apple. The top five also got REALME and HONOR.
Xiaomi Redmi 9A was the best selling smartphone with a 32 gigabyte drive. The top also called the iPhone 11 with a gigabyte storage device 128, Samsung Galaxy A12 in versions with 32 and 64 gigabytes of memory and Xiaomi Redmi 9, which comes with 64 gigabytes of the internal memory. According to the aggregate sales volume of the most popular is the Samsung Galaxy A12 line.
In monetary terms, Apple devices are leading. The iPhone 11 in versions with 128 and 64 gigabytes of memory, iPhone 12 with a 128 gigabyte drive, iPhone 12 Pro Max with 256 Gigayakes and iPhone 12 Pro with 128 gigabytes of memory.
For 11 months, the smartphone market showed an increase of 27 percent, the volume amounted to 570 billion rubles. The highest dynamics showed devices more expensive than 50 thousand rubles – their sales by the end of the year can grow by 70 percent in pieces and 75 percent in money. “Thus, in 2021, when saving this dynamics, the demand can reach about 720-730 billion rubles,” the company’s representatives reported.
In late November, retailers spoke about the shortage of a number of popular Apple phone models in Russia. Representatives of “M.Video Eldorado” noted increased demand not only for new flagships, but also on the devices of past generations – for example, iPhone 11.
