Negotiations between Russia and the United States on security guarantees will be held immediately after the New Year holidays, in early January. This was told by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the air “Soloviev Live”.
“It is with the United States that we will hold the main round of negotiations (on security guarantees), which will be held immediately at the end of the New Year holidays,” the diplomat noted.
Earlier, the Minister noted that there is a consent between Washington and Moscow to use three tracks of the negotiations. Deputy Foreign Ministry Alexander Grushko added that in addition, the Russian side worries the timeline and format of the meeting of the Council Russia – NATO.
