New changes to the Constitution of Belarus, according to which the president may take his post a maximum of two deadlines, will take effect when the position will take the newly elected head of state. Such a condition is named in the draft document, which was published on the website of the State Agency BelTA.
Earlier it was reported that in the new project of the Constitution of the Republic, finding one person as a president is limited to two terms. At the same time, the head of state will be able to disperse not only as a state of health, as is spelled out now, but in connection with rude and systematic violations of the Constitution, the stateism or another grave act.
The document was published on Monday, December 27th. The date of the referendum will be declared immediately after the discussion of the document.
