The Government of Belarus recognized the extremist formation of “Radio Liberty” (included by the Ministry of Justice of Russia into the register of foreign agents). This is reported in the Telegram Channel of the Ministry of the Interior (Ministry of Internal Affairs) of the Republic.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs on December 23, 2021, a group of citizens united by the Internet Resources” Radio Svaboda “was recognized as an extremist formation,” the report said.
In early December, the materials of the Internet channels “Radio Liberty – Belarus” recognized extremist in the republic. The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the subscription to them was persecuted by law.
In May, Tut.BY website was blocked in Belarus, 15 of his employees were detained. The company’s officials opened the case of tax evasion. In August, all TUT.BY information products and a part of its former team of the portal Zerkalo.io was recognized as extremist.
