In the opinion of the Department of Management and Social Technologies of the North-West Institute, Ranjigs Inna Wetrenko, not many countries have the opportunity to test weapons in different natural climatic zones. “Such complex maneuvers must serve as a signal to our opponents, which have recently create a tense situation and their actions, and their statements,” she said.
In November, the former head of the Main Directorate of International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Colonel-General Leonid Ivashov said that Moscow could put Minsk missile complexes “Iskander-M”, but only in the case of a real military threat to Belarus.
