According to the diplomat, the United States assigns themselves the right to determine who is worth named by democracy, and who is not. “It looks cynical and sorry against the background of obvious problems with the state of democracy and human rights in the US themselves and in general in the West,” she said.
Zakharov called the American initiative – an element of a large US strategy to undermine the role of the United Nations United Nations and the location in the framework of universal formats of like-minded people. “In essence, these are American satellites on a wide agenda from climate change and the problem of vaccines, to military diplomacy of political and regional blocks,” the representative of the Foreign Ministry said.
