Kyrgyzstan: deputy with a false diploma of higher education was removed from elections

In Kyrgyzstan, the candidate for deputies of the parliament Rysteldi Mombekov accused of fake a diploma about higher education. Having studied the case materials, the Central Election Commission of the Country (CEC) recognized the document fake and decided to remove the candidate from the elections. This is reported by the agency 24.kg.

The complaint in the CEC on Mombekova was the chairman of the State Committee for the National Security of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Zhanaliev. He stated that with respect to the candidate since 2020, a criminal case is underway for fake documents. According to investigators, Mombiekov did not study at the Kyrgyz National University: it does not have any lists of enrolled nor in the lists of graduates.

CEC made a request to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education and Science. The ministry responded that a diploma under the registration number specified Mombekov received a certain Michael Starodubs for another specialty. Mombekova is “jurisprudence”, Starodubova – “Accounting and Audit”.

it clarifies that Mombiekov is a valid deputy of the Kyrgyz parliament from the Social Democratic Party. For what reason, the CEC Kyrgyzstan did not pay attention to the documents of the people’s chosen one last time, while it is unknown.

Earlier, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia appealed to Russian employers with a request to release Kyrgyz to vote in elections. The CEC of the Republic opened polling stations in 16 addresses in Russian territory, including two in Moscow.
