US Department of Commerce contributed 27 companies to the list of organizations that are threatening national security of the country. This is reported in a statement on the department website.
American Ministry of Trade also introduced export restrictions on the Moscow Physico-Technical Institute (IFTI), reports TASS.
The head of the department Gina Raymondo stated that global trade institutions should support the world, prosperity and well-paid work, and not risks for national security. According to her, the decision of the Ministry of Trade is aimed at preventing the use of American technologies for the military goals of Russia and China.
