One of causes of failure of Cyberpunk 2077

Quest Designer Cyberpunk 2077 Philippe Weber (Philipp Weber) stated that the problems of the game could appear including due to the gameplay variability. He reported this during the stream, the record of which is on Twitch.

Commenting on numerous game problems, Weber stated on the Streaming of one of the developers of Taitle Pavel Sasko (Pawel Sasko) that there is nonlinearity in the game. As an example, he led the mission in which the main character of Vi together with the taxiura goes to Vacacco. A gamer can sit in the car to HTB, to pass the quest independently or give consent, but then refuse to fulfill the mission.

According to the quest designer, each of these solutions affects the plot of the game. Accordingly, the developers had to prescribe separate actions of NPC, which eventually occupied time. In this regard, Weber called the gamming variability possible cause of failure Cyberpunk 2077.

The Creator of Quests noted that nonlinearity does not affect the perception of the game. For this reason, Weber suggested that the developers were worth paying more attention to work on other more important elements.
