Ambassador of Russia in Washington Anatoly Antonov said on the air of Youtube-channel “Soloviev Live” that 27 Russian diplomats will leave the United States on January 30.
“Our diplomats are expelled. On January 30, 27 people with families will leave us, and on June 30 a similar amount from here will leave,” the diplomat explained.
Antonov stressed that the spouse of the Dipcorpus workers take the accreditation, children do not issue visas. He called such a behavior of Washington by politics by separation of families, despite the declared respect for family values.
Ambassador also stated that the United States rejects all the proposals of Russia to restore inter-parliamentary communications, reject requests for meetings in Congress and refuse to listen to Russian argument.
In August, US Ambassador to Russia John Salvan announced a great disproportion in the number of diplomats that are in two states. Thus, in Russia there are 123 embassy employees, and in the USA – 400 Russian diplomats distributed between the embassy, two consulates and post prunes under the UN.
