Academicians of Russian Academy of Sciences led scientists of Scientific Prize Tips

Academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences became at the head of scientific councils of the three nominations of the Scientific Prize of Sberbank, which is designed to encourage research science figures with significant potential impact on scientific and technical progress.

Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, head of the Department of Chemistry of Natural Compounds of the Chemical Faculty of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov Olga Dontsova headed the Scientific Council in the nomination “Science of Life”. The nomination covers such important to improve the quality of life of a person directions as biology, medicine and agricultural science.

Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Skoltech Rector Alexander Kulersov Headed the Scientist Council in the nomination “Digital Universe”. This nomination covers mathematics, including mathematical methods in economics, computer sciences and computer sciences, including artificial intelligence and machine learning – science and economy development drivers.

Academician RAS Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexey Khokhlov topped the Scientific Council in the nomination “Physical World”. The nomination is aimed at supporting the fundamental sciences, so necessary for understanding the world and future discoveries in all scientific fields: these are physics, chemistry, astronomy, earth sciences and technical sciences.

Three laureate will receive awards in the amount of 20 million rubles. The total budget of the scientific prize is 60 million rubles. The Committee of the Prize will select laureates based on the ideas of scientists of nominations, which will consider in detail all applications received.
