Lukashenko told refugees about “distraught” Europeans

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke to refugees from the Middle East, gathered at the border with Poland. About it reports BelTA.

Lukashenko said that part of migrants, “believing Western propaganda,” is looking for a better life in Europe. Others do not see prospects for their children in their homeland. “In a word, here people are different. But the problem you have one, big, general: you just got into trouble. I’m sure it is temporary. We, Belarusians, and I, including, will do everything as you wish, even If it is bad for Poles, Latvian and someone else, “said the president.

He added that Belarus could not arrange war to break the corridor for refugees to Germany. “People from the other side of [the border] are distraught,” said Lukashenko.

At the same time, the Belarusian authorities will not force migrants to their homeland forcibly, he assured. “This is your will: go – go. That’s the whole philosophy,” Lukashenko said about the desire of people to get to the territory of the European Union.

Earlier it was reported that Lukashenko arrived at the transport and logistics center on the border with Poland, where migrants were placed. He examined the power distribution point and talked with representatives of the Red Cross. Refugees met the president by applause.
