According to the publication, an 82-year-old man was enrolled in the hospital in the city of Frayshstadt in Austria, he needed amputation of the leg. 43-year-old health worker before the operation marked not that limb. The law enforcement bodies about the error became known in a few days, by the time the patient had already passed away.
Surgeon quit from the clinic, calling the “human and technical error” that happened, and moved to another city. The court recognized her guilty about the case of negligence – a woman was discharged a fine and obliged to pay compensation to the patient.
