On Thursday, December 2, 2021, the crews of the 20th expedition of the ISS visiting conducted a control inspection of the piloted ship “Union of MS-20”. After the introductory briefing, astronauts and participants in the space flight were familiar with the composition, accommodation of goods and equipment in the descent apparatus and in the domestic compartment. At the end of the crew inspection, they reported that, according to the results of the control “fitting” no comments, and thanked all specialists for the work.
According to the pre-tradition, the main and duplication crews also visited the Baikonur Cosmodrome Museum, known for its unique collection of exhibits. After examining the exposition, which is replenished with astronauts since first piloted flights into space, Alexander Mesurkin and Space Flight Parties to Yusaka Maesava and Jozo Hirano signed on the stand of autographs, and also left memorable inscriptions and wishes in the guest book.
Before the start of the transport piloted ship “Union MS-20” remained less than a week – the launch with the EP-20 crew to the International Space Station is scheduled for December 8, 2021. The planned duration of the flight will be 12 days.
The main crew includes the cosmonaut of Roskosmos Alexander Misurkin and the participants of the space flight Yusaka Maesava and Jozo Hirano, to the duplicating – Cosmonaut of Roscosmos, Alexander Skvortsov and the Space Flight Participant.
