White House answered question about new contacts of Putin and Bayden

A spokesman for the White House, Jen Psaki, said that Washington could not yet answer the question of the possible further new contacts of the Presidents of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the USA Joe Bayiden, but supports communication on this topic with Moscow. Her words leads TASS.

“I have nothing to announce or predict,” Psaka said, adding that in the continuation of the summit held in the summer in Geneva, the United States supports contacts with Russian colleagues at a high level.

Earlier, the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Ryabkov revealed information on the preparation of the summit of the leaders of the two countries. According to him, the situation with a possible meeting of Putin and Biden should be cleared soon. The diplomat said that at this stage it is about not in full-time contact, which, in his opinion, does not reduce the significance of the event.

Putin’s past negotiations and Biden took place on June 16 in Geneva at Villa La Grunge. The presidents communicated for three and a half hours. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the meeting had a beneficial effect on work on strategic stability and arms control.
