Employees of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan dispensers dissected about the fact that in the burning warehouse of ammunition in the Zhambyl region there is no threat of an explosion. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Yuri Ilyin, writes “Sputnik Kazakhstan”.
As perpetrators in the death of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, he called the leadership of the military department and the object itself. According to him, they did not inform the rescuers about the absence of any other threat on the place of a fire, except the TNTLIS stored in stock. At the same time, Ilyin noticed that at high temperature, the explosive had to simply burn out, and not to detect.
The Minister noted that now the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues the investigation, and the EMERCOM employees help law enforcement officers to understand the reasons and consequences of the explosion. He also added that during the past inspections a number of violations were identified and a criminal case was initiated.
August 26 in the warehouse of ammunition located on the territory of the military unit in the Zhambyl region, there was a fire for which the explosions of ammunition were followed. In total, 17 people died as a result of the incident, of which 10 are rescuers. The number of victims exceeded 90 people.
