Germany refused to recognize Lukashenko legitimate president of Belarus

The German government does not consider the Belarusian President of Alexander Lukashenko legitimate leader in Belarus. This was announced by the official representative of the new government of Germany Steffen Hebhestrate, reports TASS.

“We do not consider Lukashenko as a legitimate ruler in Belarus,” said Hebhestra at Briefing in Berlin. Thus, the current leadership of Germany changed the course and ceased to consider Lukashenko as a legal president of Belarus.

Previously, the newly approved German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called Lukashenko “dictator”. Former Chancellor Angela Merkel was not so cutting in the talks with Lukashenko, referring to him “Mr. President”, which confirmed the Belarusian leader himself.
