The US Central Intelligence Management (CIA) is reviewing the methods of preparing its agents to focus primarily at the confrontation between Russia and China. CNN told about it, reports on Saturday, December 11, TASS.
According to the sources of the TV channel, the previous 20 years CIA was mainly prepared for confrontation of the terrorist organizations of Islamists, but now the main emphasis is decided to collect intelligence information.
In this regard, in December 2020, the US Guideline sent 300 million dollars to “oppose the influence of the PRC” and another 290 million – to the confrontation of Russia. At the same time, it is noted that the CIA leadership considers China as a major threat.
TV channel reports that the Office refused to comment on the specifics of any changes in domestic policy.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that among the government’s advisers at the time of finding, Boris Yeltsin had at least one personnel officer of the CIA.
