Chile: Parliament adopts marriage for all

A project constantly fought

The project was constantly fought by the most conservative block of the Chilean right to power, but nevertheless obtained a majority of “yes” at each stage of the process in a parliament dominated by the opposition.

If the marriage for all is allowed through thirty countries around the world, Chile joins Latin America Costa Rica, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and 14 32 Mexican states.
