Military transferred improved superproke “Malka”

Uraltransmash plant handed over the first batch of modernized self-propelled guns 2C7M “Malka” by the Ministry of Defense of Russia. Military received cars with new communication equipment and observation devices. This is reported by the concern “Uralvagonzavod”.

“The product was replaced by gearboxes, distribution mechanisms and aggregates of power supply, updated monitoring devices, as well as internal communication equipment and radio stations,” said in the message.

At the heart of an improved superpoint lies the Soviet gun 2c7 “Peony”. The machine with a 203 millimeter caliber can remain one of the most powerful artillery installations. “Malka” is designed to destroy the enemy objects behind the front line.

In November, the Polish edition of Defence24 appreciated the use of large-caliber artillery by Russian troops. The publications noted that the use of heavy self-propelled mortars 2C4 “Tulip” and self-propelled guns 2C7M “Malka” speaks of the pragmaticity of the Russian military.
