Mintrost suggested extending payments to health workers for treating patients with COVID-19

The Ministry of Labor offered to extend the special payments to the health workers working with patients who have identified or suspected coronavirus infection. This is stated in the appropriate project published on the federal portal of projects of regulatory legal acts.

“The draft resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation is proposed to extend to December 31, 2022, special payments to doctors, the average and younger medical staff, ambulance drivers, members of the flight crews of sanitary aviation aircraft working with patients who have identified or suspected a new coronavirus COVID infection -19, “says an explanatory note to the project.

The document also implies extension to the same period of payments to employees of power departments providing medical care for the diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus.

About the intention of the Ministry of Labor to extend the payments to health workers until 2023 became known in early October. These needs the government on the instructions of the President of the country will send 69 billion rubles to the regions. Funds for these purposes will be allocated from the Government Reserve Fund.
