“until 2030, we believe it should be done anyway, otherwise we just fall out of the top three of the great cosmic powers and will lag. This is an unacceptable story,” said the head.
According to him, many factors may affect the deadlines for the project implementation, in particular, the lack of electronics or failure on testing. The head of the state corporation recalled that the probe to Venus is planned to be sent in collaboration with the United States or another country.
In November, Rogozin on the broadcast of “Soloviev Live” said that Russia and the United States confirmed plans to send a joint mission to Venus.
In October, the head of the Space Research Spectroscopy Laboratory (ICI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Lyudmila Zabov called the exact date of launch of the Russian probe “Venus-D” to the planet’s neighboring planet of the Solar System. According to the presentation in the 12th International Symposium, the Space Agency to Venus is scheduled to be launched on November 11, 2029.
