Mintrost revealed 31 ways to attract young people to labor market

Mintrost presented a long-term youth employment facilitation program until 2030, which reveals ways to attract young people to the labor market. This is reported by the publication of Kommersant.

According to the document, the ministry proposes from 2022 to launch 31 measures grouped in directions to simplify young people job search. So, for young people are going to organize a large-scale program on vocational guidance. In addition, the agency plans to increase the degree of compliance with the requirements of employers with the help of promoting production practices and linking demand for specialists with control numbers of admission to training organizations, create opportunities for combining education with work or entrepreneurship, as well as subsidize the work of young people, professional retraining programs and Modernization of artist centers.

It is noted that 350 thousand people will be covered by direct support measures, and indirect – five million. According to the latest data, the share of employed in the age category from 15 to 29 years is 50 percent, and in a group of 15-24-year-olds – 27 percent. At the same time, the unemployment rate among young people exceeds the average economy: it is 16.2 percent for people aged 20-24 years and 7.4 percent for 25-29-lane.

Earlier it was reported that in September, unemployment in Russia dropped to a record small indicator of 4.3 percent from 4.4 in August. According to the report of Rosstat, the level repeated the historical minimum of August 2019.
