Putin forbade sending employees with children for overtime

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law prohibiting organizations to involve employees with children from a number of categories without their consent. The document is published on the official portal of legal information.

We are talking about work on weekends and non-working holidays, as well as at night. Such employees can be sent on business trips only if they confirmed their consent in writing.

Restrictions relate to citizens who bring up three or more children under the age of 18, and the younger has not been 14 years old. Also, a single parent or guardian is falling under it, raising a child up to 14 years old, and a child’s parent, another parent of which works by the Watch method.

Similar conditions are also introduced for disabled people, parents, educating disabled children, and citizens who care for sick members of their families.

On the eve, on November 22, Putin approved the law on another change in the Labor Code, which concerns electronic document management. It will allow employees to be arranged for positions in other regions, to pass interview to remotely and enter into employment contracts. And at the end of last week, amended the State Duma to improve the minimum wage (minimum wage) and a subsistence minimum of 8.6 percent.
