Former Moldova Prime Minister Ion Kiku gave advice to the authorities to pay for the debt Gazprom for the supply of gas on the air of the PRIME TV channel, RIA Novosti reports.

If Moldova does not pay for gas, that is, the risk to remain without it. Kiku expressed confidence that the crisis was provoked by the government of a country that cannot be resolved. At the same time, he stressed that “the output can be found.”

In late October, Gazprom has concluded a contract with Moldova, subject to 100-passing payment for current payments for gas. November 22, when the next period of payments came, Moldova was nominated with ultimatum. The fuel producer warned that in case of non-payment of debts, gas pumping to the country will be stopped after 48 hours.

Moldovagaz promised with the help of the authorities to solve the problem with Gazprom, regarding the non-payment of debt, in the shortest possible time. In turn, the head of the Moldovan company Vadim Cheban asked the Government of $ 74 million to pay off debt.
