The diplomat stressed that in 2020, the Belarusian people stole the right to free and honest elections and deprived people of the election vote, but not the votes themselves. “Thousands of women and men came to the streets. They sent a signal: enough,” he said.
According to Lynhart, the leaders of the European Union countries (EU) understand that reforms do not occur quickly. “Our goal is not a change of regime. We want the Belarusian people to make their own choices,” he revealed.
On November 17, the head of the international diplomacy of the EU Josep Borrel stated that the Belarusian authorities were unleashed by the aggression of a hybrid type and turned migrants to “live shells affecting the border.” According to him, it is necessary to stop the flow of people who are deceived in Belarus, promising an open way to Europe.
