Iraqis want to return to their homeland with help of Russia

Iraqi authorities are willing to export from Belarus to return back to their homeland through the embassy in Russia. This was in conversation with RIA Novosti Deputy Minister for Migration and Iraqi migrants Karim al-Nuri.

To return to the homeland Iraqis want that way, because there is no representation in Minsk at the official Baghdad.

An-Nouri also asked other countries not to allow the Iraqis to travel to Belarus “as a sign of goodwill” for the European Union. His request was voiced against the backdrop of threats of Brussels, who promised to impose sanctions on Iraq.

The migration crisis on the eastern border of the European Union began in May 2021. Large groups of migrants from Africa and the Middle East began to massively cross the border of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia from Belarus. The escalation of the migration crisis in the affected countries have accused Minsk and Moscow.
