by decision, coordinated with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, on November 10, “practical issues of interaction in the air of forces and means” of the unified air defense system of two countries were worked out. In particular, the parties worked out the interaction of fighter aircraft, patrolling the border of Belarus, in which two Tu-22m3 Russian aircraft participated. At the expense time, they landed at the airfield in Russia.
The Belarusian Ministry of Defense added that if previously such flights of strategic bomber aviation were cycled, then from November 10 they will be performed on a regular basis. There have been such measures “adequate response to the emerging situation in both the air and on Earth.”
