The production of the new Belarusian vaccine from COVID-19 will be engaged in the enterprise of the Biological Industry “BelvituniFarm”. The decree on the implementation of the new project was signed by President Alexander Lukashenko. This is reported in the Telegram channel “Pool of the first”.
The government considered that the enterprise for infrastructure and specialists became the most promising platform for the experimental production of the vaccine. In the Vitebsk region will also have the necessary plant for this. In the future, as noted, the biotechnology cluster will develop in this direction.
In addition, scientists have already prepared a series of prototype version of the drug. New development is conducted by organizations under the Ministry of Health and the National Academy of Sciences (NAN). The presidential decree also exempts the enterprise from import customs duties and value added tax.
Earlier, the Belarusian leader stated that the country should complete the creation of a reliable domestic vaccine that would help accelerate the panemia control pace. Lukashenko noted that the grafted people are easier to carry the disease. For this reason, he himself wants to “indulge”, but only the Belarusian vaccine.
For the assumptions of the head of the Ministry of Health, Belarusian citizens will instill with the domestic vaccine in the first half of 2023. It was announced in early May. At that time, Lukashenko specified that later the country could have hundreds of millions of dollars from exporting his vaccine.
