The Eastern Rocket started with the Soyuz-2.1b missile with an ONEWEB satellites of OneWeb. Start broadcast is conducted by Roskosmos.
Start, held on October 14 at 12:40 Moscow time, became the fifth for the East in 2021. During the previous four launches, which took place on March 25, April 25, May 28 and July 1, Soyuz-2.1b and Frigate were also displayed by OneWeb satellites. To date, six starts have been held with East in the interests of OneWeb.
In September, Dmitry Rogozin, head of Roskosmos, reported to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, that the construction of the second stage of the Eastern cosmodrome, intended for the launch of the Angara missiles, will be completed at the end of 2022.
In June, the Kommersant newspaper wrote that the eastern cosmodrome revealed new frauds on hundreds of millions of rubles, which is why two criminal cases opened in the Amur region.
