Russia delivered OneWeb satellites into orbit

OneWeb satellites, launched today from the territory of Russia, brought into orbit. 36 devices delivered the “Soyuz-2.1b” missile. It is reported by Telegram-channel ZvezdaNews with reference to the state corporation “Roskosmos”.

“All 36 OneWeb satellites running from the Eastern cosmodrome are bred in orbit,” the message says.

Start of a rocket with an overclocking unit “Frigate” and OneWeb satellites took place on October 14 at 12:40 Moscow time. Roskosmos led the broadcast from the starting site. This is the fifth launch from the Eastern cosmodrome in 2021. In the course of past launches, Russian missiles were also displayed on the ONEWEB satellites orbit.

Earlier General Director of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, on the air of the First Channel, noted that Starlink satellites can be used for military purposes. In his opinion, Spacex devices can be a tool for managing troops and intelligence.

In September, it became known about the development of a satellite assembly method with wireless charging modules in space. According to TASS, the method developed in the Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (TsNIIMASH) of the State Corporation “Roskosmos”.
