In the city library named after A.A. Leonova, with the support of the Experienced Design Bureau “Torch” (part of the state corporation “Roscosmos”) awarded the winners of the competition “Space Odyssey-2021”. Competition for children and adolescents has been held since 2015 at the initiative of the library named after the cosmonaut A.A. Leonov and this year dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first flight of a person in open space.
For six years, the Torch OKB supports the competition, evaluating work in the jury and providing sponsorship support. The best participants from 7 to 18 years old were determined in six nominations: a literary work of small shape, drawing, decorative and applied art, technical creativity, amateur film and family talents.
The diversity of nominations allowed the contestants to embody their most bold ideas and ideas, work was both individual and family. Schoolchildren, as well as their parents showed a huge interest in the topic of space and conquering airspace – more than 500 works were presented to the competition.
For all the winners of the “Space Odyssei-2021” staff of the Torch OKB prepared memorable gifts and souvenirs, and also organized an excursion to the enterprise museum, where the guys met the history of domestic cosmonautics, which is full of bright events and achievements, and touched a dream Conquering outer space.
