Poland’s Prime Minister Mateeus Morrazetsky commented on the need to build a fence on the border with Belorussia. The politician called the fence to protect against the migration blackmail, his words leads Polskie Radio.
“The construction of a fence in the Polish-Belarusian border will help protect Poland from the migration blackmail in the long run – in this case, by the [Presidents of Belarus and Russia] Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin. We do not want to blackmail us,” the prime minister -Minister.
The migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the EU countries began at the end of May, after the threats to the President of Alexander Lukashenko, weakened control over the flows of illegal immigrants against the background of the next exacerbation of relations with the West. The President of Poland Angey Duda called the EU to stop the flow of migrants arriving from Belarus.
After that, the Polish authorities decided to establish a slaughter from barbed wire on the border with Belorussia against the exacerbation of the migration crisis. Polish Defense Minister Mariusch Blaschak said that such measures are needed to limit the flow of illegal migrants who are trying to get to the countries of the European Union (EU) from the Belarusian territory. The relevant bill took on October 13.
