The artist with three million albums sold relies on a frame mixed with South American cumbia and electro. The title is dedicated to small hands, to the daily workers who are not always paying attention: “truck driver, air stewardess / baker or sailor fisherman / a glass to the champions of the worst times”, sing-T- IL.
For the time being, the title is just accompanied by a visual where the singer has a hairstyle with a double bun. The 36-year-old Belgian prepares the ground for a future disc, whose release date has still not been unveiled.

“Stromae is a complete, fascinating, rare artist, and both unifying and inspiring, a creative genius (…) He has this outstanding ability to profoundly touch people all over the world,” welcomes An Olivier Nusse, boss of Universal Music France, record house responsible for the exploitation of the future album taken out of the own stromae label, Mosaert (the same letters but in the disorder).
His last album, Square root (2013, after Cheese, in 2010) had tilt stromae into another dimension. For better or for worse. This public and critical success had led him in two years of crazy tours around the world who had exhausted physically and mentally. “Even if you sell a dream, it’s a job, and as in any job, when we work too much, we arrive at a burnout,” he said in 2018 in an interview granted to France 2.
His big back on stage had been announced a week ago. The interpreter of then one dances, of papaouli or formidable was first formalized in Rock in Seine, festival in the Paris region, on August 28, 2022.
