FAS offered to tighten antitrust legislation

Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) proposed to tighten legislation for business for a number of violations. This is reported by the newspaper Izvestia.

So, the service wants to double the fines for non-fulfillment for the specified period of its solutions and prescriptions. At the moment, they constitute up to 500 thousand rubles for legal entities. In particular, we are talking about ignoring the requirements to terminate the abuse of the dominant position and to stop agreements that limit the competition.

so that the load is not excessive, it is proposed to establish a fine limit of 1/50 part from the total amount of revenue from the sale of all goods or services last year as to which the incident happened. At the same time, if the order is not executed twice or more times, the FAS intends to strengthen administrative responsibility.

In September, the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) in the Moscow Region revealed cases of highlighting prices in the stores of the Pyaterochka trading networks and “Magnit” in a number of urban districts of the region. So, the excess of the cost of flour, bread, chicken and pork was more than 10 percent.
