Apple joined to the blender Development Fund as the main sponsor (Patron), which listed on the development of a free 3D modeling system Blender more than 120 thousand dollars per year. Apple has become the seventh sponsor in this category – earlier in the number of major sponsors included companies Epic Games, Nvidia, Facebook, Amazon, Unity and AMD.
The exact amount of donation is not reported. Funds will be spent on continuing the development of key Blender components. In addition to financing, Apple will also provide the project for additional resources and share engineering experience.
