Luxembourg: declared threat of death of European Union

The European Union (EU) threatens death, if its participants cease to comply with the principle of the rule of law. This was stated by Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn at a meeting of the EU Council on Internal Affairs. His words conveys TASS.

Diplomat remembered the situation with the Constitutional Court (COP) of Poland, which on October 7 acknowledged the Primate of the National Constitution on the legislation of Brussels. “The European Union will die from such a development of events. Europe was built on the basis of democracy, freedom, respect and rule of law,” said Assestborn.

On October 18, Poland Prime Minister Mateush Morals stated that the EU turns into a centralized dominant structure and begins to dictate his will to participating countries. The politician noted that the European Union was created as an association of equal and free states.

On October 14, the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Pavel Jablonsky called for changes to the EU Agreement. The Polish authorities noticed the fact that Brussels institutions are increasingly trying to assign authority who are not reflected in the Higher Regulatory Act of the EU.

On October 7, the Polish Constitutional Court recognized the supremacy of constitutional right over European. The judges set the Constitution of Poland above any other legal norms.
