More than ten largest Russian manufacturers sausages and sausages warned retailers about the rise in price of products by 7-20 percent from the end of October – the beginning of November. This is reported to “Izvestia” with reference to reports of representatives of retail chains.
According to the publication, the increase in the cost of meat products is associated with the rise in price of detergents, packaging, egg melange and meat itself. So, the beef has rise in price by 11 percent, chicken – by 13 percent, and pork is 29 percent. It is known that many of the manufacturers are ready to increase the final price of goods on the shelf only partially.
in the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reported that a set of measures is being made to stabilize the situation. In particular, the release of ten billion rubles to meat processors in the compensation of part of the cost of purchasing feed.
Previously, manufacturers warned Russians on price increases for a number of products, including bread, meat, milk and fish. According to them, this is due to both general inflation, which affects the increase in the cost of production and crises of certain industries due to personnel deficiency, animal diseases and other things.
