Mosbier index showed strongest fall in two months

Mosbier index during trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange on Thursday, October 21, fell by 1.66 percent, up to 4216.45 points. Prior to this, the most strong percentage decline in the day the index showed two months ago – August 19, 2021 (minus 1.81 percent). The RTS index also dropped significantly – by 1.98 percent, to 1867.11 points.

Growth leaders of “blue chips” steel NLMK (plus 1.61 percent, up to 224.26 rubles per share), Pole (plus 1.08 percent, up to 13,999,5 rubles) and TCS Group (plus 0 , 18 percent, up to 7838.6 rubles). Outsiders of the day – Tatneft (minus 3.2 percent, up to 562.1 rubles per share), LUKOIL (minus 2.82 percent, up to 7229 rubles) and “Magnit” (minus 2.45 percent, up to 6153 rubles ).

Dollar rate at 18:40 MSK cost 71.15 rubles (plus 0.33 rubles), euro exchange rate – 82.82 rubles (plus 0,31rubles). Bitcoin traded 62,755 dollars per coin (minus 5.93 percent).

Brent oil was traded by 83.46 dollars per barrel (minus 2.75 percent), WTI brand – 81 dollars (minus 2.9 percent). November futures for gas cost $ 1070 per thousand cubic meters.
