Revelation about state of Russians in Sudan

Citizens and Embassy of Russia in Sudan, where a military coup was happening, nothing threatens nothing. This became known from the words of the Head of the Consular Department of the Russian Federation in Khartoum, Georgy Ambartsumian, reports RIA Novosti.

“Of course, we have taken all possible measures to ensure the safety of the embassy and Russian interests in Sudan. According to him, so far none of the Russians applied for help in the embassy. Communication is blocked, only incoming messages are available, however, they “do not always pass.”

Previously, the military from the sovereign Council of Sudan under the leadership of General Abdel Fatthaha al-Burkhana arrested members of the Provisional Government and declared a state of emergency in the country. In response, protests of civil ministerial supporters began in Khartoum.
