The energy crisis touched not only Europe, but other states, and became one of the manifestations of the global energy transition. This was told about the Special Representative of the President of Russia for Relations with International Organizations to achieve the goals of sustainable development Anatoly Chubais in its Facebook -Kackown.
According to him, among the causes of the crisis in Europe, indeed, there are errors with gas reserves in underground storage facilities, errors associated with natural effects, such as the wind level on the North Sea, but these are only superficial conclusions. He called such judgments about the situation with gas in Europe “look 3” b “class on the problem.” Chubais stressed that in Lebanon, China, Brazil and India also have problems in the energy sector, despite the absence of any errors. The representative of the president also added that for Russia, the increase in gas prices in Europe does not mean anything good, since this crisis of Europe will come to the conclusion about the need to reduce the share of hydrocarbons in the energy balance. As a result, the rate of reduction of Russian hydrocarbon exports will be significantly higher than expected before, he explained.
Earlier, the head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, said that the real crisis was due to a combination of a number of different factors. One of them is disturbed global supply chains, which were not ready for jumps of supply and demand. At the same time, the supply of both finished goods and raw materials are broken. The global deficit of the supply of raw materials, which is now observed in the energy sector, in turn, began to spread to other industries, he stressed.
