The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Poland caused a temporary attorney in the affairs of Belarus Alexander Chesnovsky in connection with the incident at the border. This is reported by the press service of the Polish Foreign Ministry.
According to the Polish side, at night on November 2, allegedly, Belarusian border guards penetrated the territory of the country with long weapons. In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Peter Vavzhik expressed MINSK a decisive protest due to violation of the state border. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that they were outraged by the actions of the Belarusian authorities, who seek to escalate tension.
Poland and the Euro-Atlantic community of democratic states will consistently oppose the illegal migration organized by Minsk, “the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Poland Mariusha Blazkak reported that the authorities would send another 2.5 thousand military on the border with Belorussia. The decision on the transfer of additional forces was taken after the attack of illegal migrants running from Belarus, on Polish border guards. According to the minister, the reliability of the border will provide a total of about 10 thousand soldiers, in addition to the border guard employees.
