Belarus pays great attention to the preparation of the Armed Forces (Sun) to fulfill various tasks and strengthening the defense capability of the army, which largely depends on the security of the country. This statement was made by the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Krentin at the “Trust-Lesnovsky” landfill during the operational collection of the Sun command composition.
He stated that over the past year, the level of combat readiness of the country increased significantly. According to him, the key event in this area began jointly with Russia, “West-2021” military exercises, during which the military of the two countries demonstrated high results on the defense of the Union State.
The head of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic also noted the increased activity of the army in the field of military-patriotic education. “Ideology is an immune system of our society. In this regard, we are increasing our activities,” said Khrenin.
On October 28, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko promised to give together with Russia a tough answer to the appearance of tanks from the western borders of the republic. In his opinion, in the West, they are looking for any reason to promote their troops closer to the borders of Belarus and the Union state.
Before that, the Belarusian leader at a meeting with the doctors of one hospitals in the city of Lida stated that Western countries seek to unleash the “war” against Belarus and already “threw” the German tanks “Leopard”.
